Telegram - Configuración de la cuenta
La protección de su cuenta comienza con la configuración de su cuenta de Telegram para reforzar su privacidad y limitar los riesgos. Esta guía aborda la visibilidad del perfil, la verificación en dos pasos y la eliminación de la cuenta.
To access any of the settings discussed here
- Open Telegram and tap the three bars on the top left corner
- Tap Settings > Privacy and Security
- Tap the desired setting
Visibilidad del número telefónico
Telegram pide un número telefónico para crear una cuenta. La configuración predeterminada permite que tus contactos vean tu número telefónico (podrían ser muchas personas si permites que la aplicación tenga acceso a tus contactos). Sin embargo, puedes configurar la visibilidad a “nadie”. Recomendamos esta configuración para evitar que las personas puedan encontrar tu nombre de usuario y ver tu número telefónico
Last seen & online
This setting lets you control if other people can see when you last used telegram, and if you saw their message. We suggest you set to "nobody" to avoid leaving traces about your phone usage.
Profile photo
We recommend not using a real photo of you, and limiting to “my contacts”. If using a real photo, make sure all your contacts are trustworthy.
Two steps verification
Adding a cloud password adds an extra layer of security when logging in to your account. This will prevent anyone that has access to your SIM card from accessing your account without your knowledge. Tap Settings > Privacy and Security > Two steps verification. Make sure you use a unique password!
Delete my account
If you use Telegram on a regular basis you can set your account to delete itself and all of its content if you are unable to access your account for some reason (lost phone for example). If you want to avoid your conversations from being accessed should you not be able to connect for a certain time, you might want to consider setting this option to 1 or 3 months.
